These beautiful bowls are hand carved from coconut shells in Vietnam. The outside is roughly polished to expose the textures and patterns of the coconut shell while the inside is lacquered in stunning vibrant colours.
 
As the bowls are made from coconut shells they may possess naturally occurring imperfection, and no two bowls will look identical. The curvature of the shell may cause the bowl to stand less firmly than a mass produced ceramic bowl would . However, this just adds to the authenticity of the product.
